Back in the late 50 s J.K. Adams decided to re-create a historic board that was popular when Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys protected our New England hills. This board was made of black walnut just as it was in colonial times. It was to accurately reproduce an heirloom with the weight feel and balance of the originals.
